I attended an intensive training Volleyball performed by two Chinese coaches (including Chris So) of Volleyball Club TORONTO WARRIORS. This training takes place to COLLEGIATE INSTITUTE OF AGINCOURT. It is open to students of the school but also to all who wish to improve their volleyball skills. (On the video you will see children and their parents).
The descriptive of the training:
My impressions :
The fact that girls and boys are mixed it improves everyone's skills (because boys are generally stronger than girls).
I enjoyed two training exercises. The first was to send the ball over the net (so a fault) and we had to try to play catch up to the fault. It's very relevant because often this mistake happens but it is very difficult to correct. The second was to "attack" in the different zones of the adversary team. And successively 3 times each zone.
In conclusion, this training was very rewarding for me because it allowed me to enrich my knowledge about the different possible types of training. This also allowed me to see that in volleyball training is very helpful to improve its level because there is a real impact in the long term.
