No. For a few reasons :

-it is not a team sport with many players. For many people a sport is more than just the technique and talent, but also because of the social aspect.

-soccer is an international sport which you only really need a ball tp ply.

-soccer is not a difficult sport to pick up at teast in regards to the basics. Anyone can play well and have fun with minimal training.

-parents like to put their kids in sports with large teams so they team better social and interaction skills.

-it isn’t as fast-pace, similary to tennis.
